Ore Festival: Igbasan Greets Constituents

As thousands of lrele indigenes worldwide celebrate the annual “Ore festival”, the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in Ondo State, Pastor lgbasan Emmanuel has extended a festive greetings to the peaceful people of lrele on the 2024 ORE FESTIVAL.
In his greetings, lgbasan enjoins the people of lrele kingdom on the need to celebrate the historic “Ore festival” with peace, love and harmony which the people of lrele local government had long been known for.
The Budget Commissioner, congratulated the traditional rulers and all sons and daughters of lrele kingdom who came from far and near for the festival urges caution during the festival saying ‘Ore’ festival serves as gateway to other festivals celebrated annually in Irele as it opens door for other festivals which the people of lrele kingdom hold dear for preservation of their cultural heritage.
Similarly, lgbasan urges the people to pray for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Mandate which was designed to reposition the country for better economic growth and development saying the present situation of the country though hard but would bring about massive development and better life for Nigerians.
In a related development, lgbasan solicits massive supports of the people for the government of His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa saying Aiyedatiwa has all it takes to turn the economic fortunes of the state around.
Finally, lgbasan admonishes the constituents to eschew violence and avoid any act that could disrupt the peace of lrele local government during and after the celebration of the festival saying lrele local government enjoys an enviable record of being the most peaceful local government in the state.
Igbasan, who used the occasion to express his appreciation to the constituents in the last Continuous Voters’ Registration(CVR) exercise of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) ahead November 2024 Governorship Poll in the State expressing optimism on the return of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa saying his performance in the last seven months as governor of the Sunshine State was above expectation He therefore, thanked the people for their massive turnout during the voters’ registration despite the short time saying such feats should be repeated come November 16, 2024 guber poll in the state to deliver APC governorship candidate, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, governor of Ondo State.
