HON. DONALD OJOGO HUMANITARIAN SERVICES: A CALL FOR APPRECIATION BY THE PEOPLE OF ILAJE/ESE-ODO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

In a quest to address the dearth of social amenities or infrastructural deficit in Ilaje/ Ese-odo Federal Constituency and reposition it for functionality Hon. Donald Ojogo, Member representing Ilaje/Ese-odo Federal Constituency; a man whose life story is a testament to perseverance, excellence and compassionate philanthropy has demonstrated another unparalleled altruism by drilling automated borehole in three communities in his Constituency at Ode-Etikan , Ilaje Local Government and Sabome, Ampere in Eseodo Local Government.

Just within a year in the office Hon. Donald Ojogo has dotted his leadership cap with colourful achievements that will forever remain evergreen. Hon. Donald Ojogo has not only shown keen interest, frankness and presence of mind by this humanitarian gesture in improving the lives of his people but also unwavering commitment and enthusiasm to discharge his statutory responsibility without lethargy and tardiness.

Though, human beings are more about themselves, their personal interests and in most cases their kith and kin most especially in politics but Hon. Donald Ojogo has distinguished himself from other politicians who take politics as a profitable gig by refusing to sacrifice honour for ephemeral mess of pottage. Despite the fact that this man has faced serious health challenges this never deter him from performing his duties which must be commended by all and sundry irrespective of party or political affiliation.

Hon. Donald Ojogo is without any strings of doubt an astute believer in doctrine of utilitarianism that’s, the greatest good, for the greatest number. An axiom which hardly holds sway in reality most especially in Nigeria’s political landscape where most of our leaders indulge in epicurean engagement at the detriment of the poor masses. This follows that only few individuals can express altruism through leadership positions like Hon. Donald Ojogo that’s why, it becomes imperative for us extend our heartfelt appreciation to this selfless leader for turning himself to the proverbial midnight oil burning everyday and night till early hour of the morning for the betterment of his people.
