Due to the ban on social gathering during this yuletide period by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Ondo State Outstanding Leadership Awards has now been postponed.
This was contained in a Press Release by the Awards Coordinator, Dr. Akinbiola Sunday made available to newsmen in Akure saying though the postponement is painful but imperative considering the new tide of Covid-19 in the country.
He further said the award will also form part of the celebration of Ondo State at 44 which will be done to meet international standard
The awards ceremony which should hold on 22 of December, 2020 has now been postponed till 21 of February 2021
