US Xmas bombing: Jimoh Ibrahim salutes President Tinubu’s collaboration with United States

Ambassadorial Designate and Ondo South Senator, Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR has made his position known on the collaboration between President Tinubu led Federal Government and the United States of America on the bid to stamp out terrorism and banditry in Nigeria.
It will be recalled that Nigerians were jolted to the reality of a massive airstrike at the heart of a terrorism convergence in Sokoto State, where members of Islamic States of West Africa Province were said to be gathering to launch fatal attacks on different locations across the North West.Espionage and encrypted intelligence gathered by The US confirmed the location of the terrorists and The US Department of War swung into action in what has become ‘the US Christmas Day Gift to the Nigerian Terrorists.’
In a well publicized reaction, Distinguished Senator Jimoh Ibrahim averred that ‘no country has absolute sovereignty.’ Supporting his assertion, Senator Ibrahim said America received military support from UK, Canada and Russia to clear terrorists’ invasion of September 11.
The Doctor of Modern War Studies charged that President Bola Tinubu should be allowed to clear insecurity . While drawing inference from the US experience during the September 11 attack , the Ondo South Senator said, “The United States of America got assistance from United Kingdom , Canada, Poland, Australia, Germany, Italy, Russia and Zealand to come clean out of insecurity arising from terrorists attack of September 11.
” The Support to America then includes military asset , troops, aircraft and naval contributions ( Operation Enduring Freedom -OEF) . That explains clearly that no nation has absolute sovereignty, ” Amb ( Sen.) Jimoh Ibrahim (PhD War) admitted.
The Senator turned Foreign Diplomat maintained that President Bola Tinubu’s collaboration and cooperation strategy are the usual liberal democratic way of setting a new order for peace in in a geocentric system and never a compromise of Nigerian sovereignty .
The question arises, is absolute sovereignty possible? This well thought out concept in Political Science has been known to be a tricky concept : in theory , it implies a nation has total control over its internal affairs, laws and governance without external influence. The reality as Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (PhD War) has clarified is that no nation has absolute sovereignty due to international law, treaties and agreements that limit such national power of independent states. If absolute sovereignty is a myth since nations surrender some of their power to international organizations or agreements, then President Bola Tinubu deserves applause for making the bold step of collaborating with The United States on ending threat by terrorists cells to the nation state. Recall that the seed of this threat to national integrity was sown long ago, long before the Presidency of Bola Tinubu was conceptualized and the Presidents before him watched helplessly as this seed germinated to an all time terror that almost asphyxiated the nation until a bold foreign diplomacy approach by President Tinubu fostered a mutual collaboration that allowed logistic support by Nigeria to United States Government.
To the armchair critics of the Presidency, the exposed view and informed opinion of the Apostle of the mantra, ” War is not absence of Peace and Peace is not absence of War, ‘ Senator Jimoh Ibrahim who chaired The Senate Committee on Interparliamentary Affairs is that criticism is cheap but the real act of governance is the commendable collaboration of President Tinubu whose government is in full support of smoking out the terrorists and enemies of the positive image of Nigeria abroad.
