As the committee chairman on security in the Ondo State House of Assembly, I presented the report of the committee on amendment of the Ondo State Security Network Code name “AMOTEKUN”.
Recall, in February 2020. I submitted my report on a bill for “A Law To Establish The Ondo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps”, which passed through the first and the second reading and was passed into law.
In a bid to reduce the rate of crimes, Protect the citizens and also strengthen the Operation of the Amotekun corps, I therefore presented the amended bill to the house for Scrutiny. About 6 Sections of the Principal Laws were amended.
This amended bill was passed into Law today by the House of Assembly to the Glory of God and benefit of the citizens of Ondo State.
