The Ondo State leading gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Distinguished Senator Boluwaji Kunlere has revealed his plans to prioritize the welfare of the people across the state.
Senator Boluwaji Kunlere made this known on Friday shortly after picking his Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms at People’s Democratic Party National Secretariat, Wadata House Abuja, for the Ondo State governorship primary poll.
He said his administration will prioritize the welfare and well-being of the people since one of the assurances of every true democracy is about the government working to meet the yearnings of the people.
He said, “My administration would be our administration. Our administration will prioritize the welfare and well-being of the people since one of the assurances of every true democracy is about the government working to meet the yearnings of the people.”
“We will also ensure accessible and affordable tuition for all tertiary institutions across the state. In addition, students of Ondo State in tertiary institutions across the country will enjoy bursary awards, while scholarship will be given to indigent students in higher institutions. Furthermore, Qualitative Education, Health and Industrialization will enjoy our attention.”
Senator Kunlere said that everyone, irrespective of ethnic, religious and Political cleavages would enjoy fair treatment, while justice and all-inclusive participation which are fundamental blocks for peace, human rights and sustainable development would continue to be upheld by his administration if voted as governor.
He said as part of the efforts towards deepening democracy and giving voice to people at the grassroots, his administration will focus on the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) to work out modalities for the conduct of free and fair Local Government election in the state.
The distinguished Senator called on people of the state and Nigerians to support him in the efforts to bring real change to Ondo State.
