Roberts Oyesanmi Foundation Awards N2 Million to Uplift Local Entrepreneurs

The Roberts Florence Oyesanmi Foundation today announced the finalists of its Become a Millionairepreneur Contest, a philanthropic initiative aimed at empowering aspiring entrepreneurs in the Ondo South region.

Following a two-month application window, a distinguished panel reviewed submissions and shortlisted Mrs. Olamigoke Moyin, Ms Omoyanmola Omolola, Mr. Iroaye Olumide, and Mr. Gbenga Moneyin. based on a rigorous selection process focusing on five key criteria: Insights, Innovation and Creativity, Integrity, Impact, and Sustainability (IICIS). This framework ensures the chosen finalists demonstrate:

Insights: A deep understanding of their target market and the challenges they aim to address.

Innovation and Creativity: Fresh ideas and approaches to solving problems and delivering value.

Integrity: Strong ethical principles and a commitment to responsible business practices.

Impact: The potential of the venture to create positive social and economic change within the community.

Sustainability: A clear plan for long-term success and the ability to generate financial stability.

The final screening was done earlier today at the country home of the Chairman, Engr. Oyesanmi Chris Babalola by the Board of Trustees of the foundation.

The final selection will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 during a ceremony commemorating the birthday of Elder Marcus Oyesanmi.

The Roberts Oyesanmi Foundation, led by Chairman Engr. Oyesanmi Chris Babalola, will award two winners a grant of N1 million each, totaling N2 million in financial support for their entrepreneurial endeavors. This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to fostering economic development and alleviating poverty within the community.

“We are dedicated to encouraging and empowering the next generation of millionaires in our society,” said Engr. Oyesanmi Babalola. “By providing financial support and mentorship, we hope to equip these individuals with the tools they need to achieve their entrepreneurial goals and create a lasting impact.”

Other members of the Board of Trustees at the screening include but are not limited to Elder Marcus Oyesanmi, Mr. Olajide Oyesanmi, Mr. Taiwo Oyesanmi, Dr. Kehinde Oyesanmi, Mrs. Bukola Arowojolu, Mrs. Wuraola Oyesanmi.

Others in attendance include Mr. Niyi Akinnagbe, Mr. Clement Oboroh of Awawa FM, and Chief Oyesanmi, Dr. Ogunboye Adebayo among others.
