As all aspirants in the forth coming gubernatorial election in Ondo State are preparing towards primary elections, the minds of the elders in the All Progressive Congress (APC) are currently dominated with the thoughts of supporting an investor who is capable of industrializing the state to be the next Governor of
the state. What the elders really want to do is to release yesterday and seize today by planning for the future through maximum support for the aspirant with the capacity to transform the state with his innovative ideas in the person of Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim.CFR
In just another two weeks, that long awaited primary election will hold and it is glaring that Sen. Ibrahim will enjoy substantial support of these elders because he has left no one in doubt of his capacity , capability and innovative ideas with substantial knowledge that can change the traditional strategy of governance in the state. Sen. Ibrahim will birth that change and boost our economic fortunes.
The elders are convinced that a transformational leader and investor like Senator Ibrahim knows the way and it is best he leads the way. They know he will plant shed for people to sit comfortably under the sun just like late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum who facilitated the development of Dubai and transformed the city from a small cluster of settlements near Dubai Creek to a modern port, city and commercial hub. The excellence we see in Lagos State today was attained by one visionary leader who created the foundation for that greatness.
There is no gainsaying the fact that if there will be acceleration in our social and economic lives, an Icon like Sen. Ibrahim, PhD, OFR, CFR with his intimidating records as a lawyer, an international tax experts, an academician, an Administrator, an Economist and Investor must be given the chance as the next Governor of the state.
It is time to do something differently in the hope to get a better result from those we give our mandates to in order to change the narratives for good.
During Governor Adefarati and Agagu’s administrations, education was prioritized as professional teachers were employed. The health sector also received huge improvement during Mimiko’s tenure as a medical doctor while security was taken seriously during Akeredolu’s regime as a fearless lawyer.
Productivity of Sen. Ibrahim in creating wealth is never in doubt nor by accident. It is always the result of commitment to excellence, intelligence, planning and focused effort towards achieving the desirable goal.
These are parts of the reasons why elders in the state are galvanizing their support for Jimoh Ibrahim to be the Governor, as it is only his government that is capable of birthing bottom- line result in our dear sunshine state as he will invest to create employment for the youth and bring meaningful positive impacts on the economy of the state.
