The death has been accounced of Late Mrs Grace Oluwakoya Akinbi (Nee Tikolo) LL.B (Hons) LASU B.L(1964- 2021).
She died in the early hour of 11th July, 2021 after a brief illness. She attended Methodist High School, Okitipupa for her School certificate O/L. Thereafter, she proceeded to Ondo State College of Arts and Sciences (OSCAS) Ikare-Akoko for her HSC Advanced Level Programme in 1984. Grace gained admission to study law in Faculty of Law, Lagos state University in 1987. She was called to bar in 1992.
Late Mrs Akinbi hailed from the popular Tikolo family of Igbobini, Ese -Odo local Government Area of Ondo state but was born and brought up in Okitipupa where her family resides. She married Prince Adeyemi Akinbi from Abusoro Quarters of Idepe-Okitipupa and the marriage is blessed with three boys two of who are medical doctors and a final year law student of UNILAG.
She was a vibrant Lagos- based legal practitioner and Managing Partner of G O AKINBI & CO, Tikolo Chambers with her purpose -built law office at Ekoro Road, Abule-Egba, Lagos. Mrs Akinbi was an active member of NBA Ikeja branch. A well known serious minded and hard working Advocate.
She was survived by her husband, children aged mother, brothers and sisters. Burial arrangements will be announced by the famiy soon.
