The Ondo State Governor and Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, His Excellency Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN is set to pick yet another deputy from the southern senatorial district a group revealed.
According to the Aketi 4 + 4 Connects Group, a grassroots vanguard rooted in the South, Governor Akeredolu has not given up on the southern district even with the open betrayal of his deputy, HE Agboola Ajayi.
Speaking with IkaleVoice.com , the group spokesman who pleaded anonymity said there are strong indications that Akredolu has settled for two personalities in Irele local government and the third in Ilaje council area.
“Some are saying that Mr. Governor will not pick his Deputy again from our southern district because of his experience with Agboola but no, he will pick another Deputy from our district.
“Be assured that two personality from Irele local government and one from Ilaje local government are currently being considered to replace HE Agboola Ajayi. One of them is even more popular than Agboola and has touched more lives across parties in the state.” He said.
He further revealed that one of the shortlisted deputy governorship candidate is referred to as a leader to all the political leaders in the southern district.
“One of the names penned down is a known leader to all our leaders in the southern district and the missing key to Akeredolu’s forthcoming October gubernatorial massive victory in the district and Ondo State,” he said.
