COVID-19: An Ikale Indigene In Diaspora, Otunba Seyi Aba, donates nose masks to Okitipupa LG
The efforts of government at all levels to curtail the further spread of the dreaded virus, COVID-19, received a boost on Monday in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State, as an Ikale son in Diaspora, Otunba (Dr.) Oluseyi Aba and his wife donated reusable Nose Masks to the Council.
The Chairman of the local council, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, while receiving the consignment (which were locally produced in the state) from the donor ably represented by Mr. Ifedayo Omosehindemi, expressed his profound gratitude to the donor, Otunba Oluseyi Aba for his good gesture towards the good people of Ikale land at this critical period.
In his words, the Chairman said ”this is a selfless contribution that will not go to waste. I will definitely inform the Governor of the State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) of this valuable contribution at this time.
I, on behalf of the Management of Okitipupa Local Government wish to express our profound appreciation to Otunba (Dr.) Oluseyi and Yeye Otunba Funmilayo Aba for this wonderful gesture towards us at this trying time.
”We thank you, as we look forward to more of your support and assistance in the nearest future.
Otunba (Dr.) Oluseyi Aba speaking with Ikale Voice Newspaper expressed his willingness to support Okitipupa communities and to show the grassroots people that his family is thinking about them.
“We are giving out a token of 750 copies of nose masks today. This is just to show we are thinking about our people and we are ready to do more,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Chairman appealed to all prominent Ikale sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora to emulate Otunba Oluseyi and Funmilayo Aba.
