“Individual wealth is nothing in the midst of grinding communal poverty”.
Making this statement yesterday in Ode Aye was the Chairman/CEO, ENIKS OMO GROUP, Hon (Chief) Tayo Eniku as he concluded his 3-day distribution of food and Monetary Cash to the people and some Political and Community leaders both in Ore in Odigbo LG and Ode Aye, his place of birth.
“I live among my people which has brought me face to face with the challenges of our people…iam conversant with our culture and tradition particularly during this festive season, I know their problems, desires and aspirations as I am ready, willing and able to do the little I can do” , declared Olowojuhati of Aye Kindom.
For three days, Chief Eniku and his staff embarked on food and cash distributions that was meant to cushion the effects of our economic challenge the country is facing.
The distribution was in phases; first in Ore where he resides and in Ode Aye, his home town.
About 200 people benefited from the programmes.
The business man expressed confidence in the success of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Deputy Governor-Elect, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa saying “despite the challenges of year 2020, this new year holds a lot of positive development for our dear State” .
