The donor, Mr. Monday Ikusedun who addressed Beneficiaries via Zoom advised them to make judicious use of the small loan extended to them.

He said, this benevolence is not to show that he has deep pocket but to give back to the good people of Apoi land in his own little way.

The donor also thanked Pastor Etofo Vincent for starting his own foundation to help the good people of Apoiland.

He said if there are more people the embarrassment of Micro Finance banks with huge interests will be a thing of the past in Apoiland.

Ikusedun said Beneficiaries should make savings and take the loan as one with interest, so that the interest they are supposed to pay would be their own savings at the end of the year.

He advised beneficiaries to ensure prompt payment in order to ensure continuity.

The Donor also thanked all the beneficiaries and the Coordinating Law firm(Kalasuwe Chambers) for the success recorded so far.

Beneficiaries who took turns to appreciate the donor promised never to take this opportunity for granted and to also fulfil their own part of the bargain faithfully.

Baamofin said from the feedback received so far, the programme is creating employments that even POS Operators are benefitting.

He pronounced “Apoi people” as honest and faithful as nobody had defaulted since the beginning of the programme in February, 2024.

He said despite the strict legal framework involved in the programme, Kalasuwe law firm have had no reason to invoke any legal remedies and that no one is owing a dime.

He emphasised the need to make judicious use of the money as the donor had paid for all services, including the application forms to make the loan absolutely free for all beneficiaries.

He hinted that the loan will be revolving and that the next major disbursement will be in June, 2026. He asks God to guide and guard the donor.

He also appealed to those who applied but was not considered in this batch never to be worried as efforts are on to ensure that all applicants are considered soon. He said it’s a matter of time and space.
