(Deacon) Olajide Akinfe, has presented his 100-day scorecard to the constituents, marking a significant milestone in his administration’s journey to serve the good people of Irele Local Government with dedication, transparency, and accountability.

Key Highlights of Achievements and Ongoing Projects:

•“`Establishment and Commissioning of Amotekun Market Beat in Irele Township Market“` : A major step in enhancing security within the market, providing a safer environment for traders and customers.

• “`Complete Renovation of the Local Government Secretariat“` : A transformation reflecting his administration’s resolve to provide a modern and efficient workspace, improving service delivery.

– “`Provision of Office Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to the Legislative Council“` : A gesture demonstrating his commitment to supporting the legislative arm, promoting collaboration and effective governance.

•“`Peacebuilding Efforts“` :

(i). Facilitation of a ceasefire between Arogbo/Ijaw people of Ese-Odo Local Government and Iju-Osun community in the Council Area over land disputes, thereby averting imminent war and promoting peace and stability.

(ii). – “`Peaceful Resolution of the Lingering Crisis in Ore Branch of the NACTOMORA, Irele“`: Showcasing his administration’s ability to mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring peace and harmony in the community.

•“`Infrastructure Development“`:

– Official flag-off of 40 modern market stores in Irele Township Market, to be completed within six weeks.

– Flag-off of 40 modern stores in Oba’s Market, Ajagba; enhancing the business environment and increasing revenue.

– “`Support for Education“` : Approval of bursaries for indigenous students in higher institutions, promoting access to quality education and empowering the next generation.
