The Lumure of Ayeka Kingdom, Oba Dr. Babatunde Michael Ayeyowa, has congratulated Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Joseph Sola Iji following their appointments as ambassadors by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Ayeka Kingdom, the monarch described the appointments as well-deserved and a clear recognition of the dedication, experience, and contributions both men have made to national development and public service.
According to Oba Ayeyowa, the appointment of Jimoh Ibrahim as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations reflects the confidence reposed in his diplomatic capacity, intellectual depth, and longstanding commitment to advancing Nigeria’s interests on the global stage. He noted that the position carries significant responsibility in representing Nigeria at the international level and participating in key global discussions affecting peace, development, and international cooperation.
The traditional ruler also congratulated Ambassador Joseph Sola Iji on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia, describing him as a seasoned diplomat with the experience and competence required to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and the Russian Federation. He expressed optimism that Ambassador Iji would further deepen diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between both nations.
Oba Ayeyowa emphasized that the Ayeka Kingdom takes pride in celebrating individuals who continue to bring honor and recognition to the country through their service.
