Tribute: Community Leader, Oloja Sunday Adejuwon Dies

... Ikale Nation Mourns

The Ikale Nation has been thrown into mourning following the death of a respected community leader, Oloja Sunday Adejuwon, whose life was marked by service, unity and commitment to development.

In a tribute issued on Thursday, Prof. Salewa Olafioye, Aare of Ikale Land and former diplomat at the United Nations, described the late Adejuwon as a warm and devoted leader who dedicated his life to the progress of his people.

 

According to Olafioye, Adejuwon played a significant role in uniting the Ikale community both at home and in the diaspora.

 

“As Chairman of the Tako Day Committee and President of the Igbotako Development Forum (IDF), he brought people together with a clear sense of purpose and pride,” he said.

 

He noted that the deceased’s leadership served as a rallying point for collective action and community advancement.

 

“His golden heart gave hope to many. His sacrifices and selflessness remain a lasting inspiration to all who knew him,” Olafioye added.

 

The professor further described Adejuwon as a man of compassion, humanity and unwavering commitment to the betterment of society, noting that his legacy would continue to impact future generations.

 

He prayed for strength and comfort for the family of the deceased and the entire Ikale Nation during the period of mourning.

 

“May God grant his family and the Ikale Nation the fortitude to bear this great loss,” he said.

 

The late Oloja Sunday Adejuwon is remembered for his contributions to community development and his enduring commitment to unity among his people.
