Ondo State, the Sunshine State, proudly celebrates its 50th Anniversary, a golden jubilee that reflects five decades of resilience, industriousness, and visionary leadership. Since its creation in 1976, Ondo has remained a beacon of cultural pride and innovation.
From its first administrators to the present day, successive leaders have played pivotal roles in shaping the destiny of the state. Each administration has contributed in unique ways laying foundations of governance, expanding education, strengthening healthcare, modernizing infrastructure, advancing industrialization, and promoting grassroots development. Their collective vision and service have ensured that Ondo State continues to shine brightly on the national stage.
Today, Ondo State is under the stewardship of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whose “OUR EASE” agenda continues to drive development across the state.
Barrister Ogundipe, in her message, emphasized: “As Ondo State celebrates 50 years of excellence, we salute the courage of its people, the foresight of its leaders, and the promise of its future. May this jubilee usher in greater prosperity, unity, and innovation for the Sunshine State.
