Sen. Tofowomo congratulates Jegede on his PDP primary victory

Nicholas Tofowomo, the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District has congratulated Barr Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) on his victory as the elected candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of Ondo State governorship election on October 10, this year.

Tofowomo advised Jegede to unite the party and be ready to work together with everybody to form the next government in Ondo State.

He said he is happy that he played his role as a good Christian to have supported Okunomo at the primary being the reward of supports he enjoyed from him (Okunomo) as an elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

”I congratulate Barr Eyitayo Jegede (SAN), the winner of the PDP primary election and the flag bearer of our party in Ondo State ahead of the governorship election.”

”I also congratulate all the governorship aspirants for their high-level display of understanding which gave peace a chance in the party even at their trying periods.”

”Barr Jegede should know that our main opposition is Akeredolu and the ruling APC in Ondo State. I, therefore, enjoin him to put the election aside and reach out to everybody in the party including all the governorship aspirants and work with them to fight with the spirit of oneness to unseat the APC in Ondo State, by October 10, 2020, because the interest of the party is to occupy the Alagbaka government house.”

”I am happy as a Christian that I fulfilled all righteousness by supporting my Director-General, Banji Okunomo at the primary being the reward of the overwhelming support he gave to me during my own election”.

”PDP remains one indivisible family. The internal election cannot divide us. Akeredolu should start packing his load to leave the government house. We will put in our best to ensure the PDP takes over by October this year by the special grace of God.”

”Once again, congratulations  to the incoming governor of Ondo State @ Eyitayo Jegede,” Senator Tofowomo said.
