Ondo, One Million Votes Agenda for Tinubu: An Agenda Achievable Under Leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, Says MATO

The drive for unity and grassroots mobilisation within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has received a major boost, as Hon. Matthew Oyerinmade, popularly known as MATO, reaffirmed his confidence in the party’s ability to deliver one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the state in 2027 general elections.

It will be recalled that in his congratulatory message to Hon. Kolawole Babatunde on his emergence as Ondo State APC Chairman, MATO had declared that the APC State executives, under the renewed leadership in the state, would galvanize the structures needed to achieve the one‑million‑vote target. He stressed that Babatunde’s ascension was not only well‑deserved but also a turning point for inclusiveness and grassroots mobilisation.

Now, with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa setting the agenda and Hon. Babatunde steering the party machinery, MATO has thrown his weight fully behind the one‑million‑vote project. He described the synergy between the governor and the chairman as a formidable force that will consolidate APC’s dominance in Ondo State and deliver resounding victory for President Tinubu.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has provided the vision, Hon. Babatunde has brought the organisational strength, and together they will rally our members from the wards to the polling units. I am confident that Ondo State will meet and surpass the one‑million‑vote target for President Tinubu in 2027,” MATO stated.

MATO urged all APC stakeholders in the state especially in Ondo South from unit leaders to ward executives, local government executives, and state leaders and executives, to rally behind this one‑million‑vote agenda. He stressed that the responsibility of achieving such a landmark target rests on collective effort, beginning at the grassroots and extending to the highest levels of party leadership.

He assured that he is personally ready to demonstrate commitment, dedication, and sacrifice in the realization of this agenda within Ondo South Senatorial District as the people of the district have already shown confidence in his aspiration to be the flag bearer, and he sees this trust as a mandate to work tirelessly toward delivering victory for the APC and President Tinubu in 2027.
