It is no more news that All progressive Party lost its greatest son and brightest star in the State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON . May good lord honor him with a place in Heaven and May his great and mighty soul rest in peace ( Amen).
It will not be erased in record that Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR stood by Aketti shoulder to shoulder through the most trying times. He is the only one who genuinely stood by him apart from members of his cabinet in the state during his illness. Araba of the Universe had the honor of being called his brother even after death because he believes that his legacy is truly blessed and wrapped in glory and it shall surely endure.
As a member and a loyalist follower of All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Ondo State, there is no gainsaying that the party in the state is divided due to the death of Aketti but every material fact shows that party as being in dire need of sincere consensus builder like Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, who has capacity to prevent exodus of the bigwigs politician in the state to prevent forming alliance against progressive party in the state forth coming gubernatorial election.
In other to record outstanding result of general election in this year, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, PhD ( Cantab), CFR has apportioned #66.6 millions to all party executives in all 18 local government of the state for new year celebration in Ondo State and preparation to empower all ward executives across the 203 wards in Ondo State is at the uppermost part because he believes that if everyone is moving together, landslide victory will take care of itself.
Now that primary election is approaching, It is glaring that Jimoh Ibrahim is the people’s choice as the governor in the state because he is a unifier, very sound , has business acumen, has investment and wherewithal to be able to lead party and the state out of its present quagmire.
