ODIMAYO FLAGS OFF CONSTRUCTION OF ULTRAMODERN HOSPITAL IN ODE IRELE, REITERATES COMMITMENT TO CONSTITUENTS’ WELLBEING

In furtherance of his commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, the Member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo, has flagged off the construction of a 20-ward hospital in Ode Irele, Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Odimayo stated that the hospital project is a critical part of his vision to make quality healthcare accessible to his constituents.
He emphasised that the facility, upon completion, will cater to the pressing medical needs of the people and reduce the burden of travelling long distances for treatment.
Earlier, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Irele Local Government, Chief Z.A. Omoge, commended the project, describing it as a remarkable and timely intervention.
He praised Odimayo for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people, noting that his performance so far has been outstanding.
Engineer Iyanu Onasanya, the contractor handling the project, disclosed that the hospital will have twenty (20) rooms, including an emergency ward, male and female wards, and a surgical theatre.
He assured the people of Okitipupa and Irele Local Government Areas that the project will be executed in strict compliance with the standards of the Ministry of Works and will meet global best practices.
The flag-off ceremony was witnessed by community leaders, party leaders including, Chief Femi Moyegun, Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, Hon. Sayo Ogunmade, Hon. Bode Bobola, Mr. Bulu Ayorinde, Mr. Dele Igbekele, Chief Fayemi Akinrodoye, Chief Oyinlola, Mr. Niyi Adetarami and well-wishers, who hailed the development as a transformative project for Ode Irele and its environs.
