MATO Secures APC Nomination Form, Expresses Gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, APC Chairman Hon. Babatunde, APC Leaders and Stakeholders in Ondo State and Mato Mandate Group as He Emerges APC Consensus Candidate for Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency

Hon. Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, widely known as MATO, has officially obtained his nomination form under the All Progressives Congress (APC), emerging as the consensus candidate for the Ileoluji/Okeigbo–Odigbo Federal Constituency.

In a statement released shortly after securing the form, MATO expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, APC State Chairman Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, party stakeholders, leaders across Ondo State, and members of the Mato Mandate Group (MMG) in Ondo South. He described their support as the pillar of his aspiration, stressing that his candidacy is not a solitary ambition but a collective mandate.

“I am not a representative of two local governments alone, but of all six in the South,” MATO declared. “I will use all my structures to work for the all APC consensus candidates in Ondo South Senatorial District.”

He pledged that his political structures would not only serve his constituency but would also be deployed to strengthen the APC across Ondo South. In a gesture of unity, MATO extended what he termed an “olive tree” to aspirants who may not have emerged as consensus candidates, urging them to join hands in consolidating the party’s strength ahead of the general elections.

MATO’s message brimmed with humility and gratitude. He acknowledged the sacrifices of party elders, the guidance of leaders, and the tireless efforts of grassroots supporters. “Every handshake, every word of encouragement, and every sacrifice made by our members has brought us to this point,” he said, underscoring his belief that collective effort is the true engine of political success.

He further saluted ordinary citizens in his constituency, noting that their faith in his vision has been his greatest motivation. “From the market women to the youth groups, from community leaders to MMG members, your trust is my strength. I carry your hopes with me, and I will not let you down,” MATO affirmed.

Grassroots members of MMG echoed this sentiment, describing MATO as a leader who values those who stand with him. “His appreciation shows he is a leader who remembers,” one supporter remarked. “That is why he is trusted, and that is why he is our choice.”

With his nomination form secured, MATO steps forward as a candidate whose journey is anchored in gratitude, unity, and collective resolve. Backed by party leaders, stakeholders, and loyal supporters across the Ileoluji/Okeigbo–Odigbo Federal Constituency, his candidacy reflects not just personal ambition but a shared vision. For MATO, this moment is more than a political milestone—it is a testament to the power of inclusivity, the strength of grassroots support, and the enduring belief that true leadership is built on remembering those who stand with you.
