Hon. Mathew Oyerinmade, popularly known as Mato and the leading APC aspirant for Ondo South Senatorial District, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for an impactful one year in office, describing him as “a performer whose actions speak louder than words.”

Mato noted that in just twelve months, Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. His administration has rolled up its sleeves and delivered tangible results across the Sunshine State. From the commissioning of strategic roads in Akure, Owo, Ilaje, Okitipupa, and Akoko South West, to the flag-off of new construction projects, the Governor has left no stone unturned in transforming infrastructure.
Industrial strides have also been made, with the commissioning of the Supertek Methanol Plant and Solvold Plywood Plant in Ore—developments Mato described as “feathers in the Governor’s cap” that will boost employment and economic growth. The Ondo State Investment Summit further underscored the administration’s foresight, proving that Governor Aiyedatiwa is “building bridges before rivers appear.”
Citizens across the state testify that the Governor has been a square peg in a square hole, perfectly suited for the task of governance. Farmers speak of renewed support, traders of improved markets, and youths of opportunities that inspire hope. His leadership has been likened to “the gentle hand of a shepherd guiding his flock”, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Mato prayed that the Almighty would continue to strengthen the Governor, granting him wisdom like Solomon, courage like Joshua, and grace like David. He concluded that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s journey reminds Ondo State that “a good tree is known by its fruits”and the fruits of his first year in office are evident in the lives of the people.
As the Sunshine State beams brighter, Mato affirmed that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa stands tall as a worthy leader, a performer, and a divine gift to Ondo State.
