Jimoh Ibrahim ‘ll clinch APC ticket – Ilaje/Ese -Odo grassroot politicians

Grassroot politicians from the two riverine local governments areas of the state, Ilaje/Ese Odo during a carnival like campaign in Igbekoda and Igbekebo have said the leading aspirant, Sen. Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR will clinch the All Progressive Congress (APC) ticket during the April 20 party primary.

This projection according to them is based on the achievements of the business Magnate in less than a year in the senate.

Some of the achievements highlighted include bills for the establishment of Federal Polytechnics Igbekoda, Federal College of Education Igbekebo and the Ayetoro Ocean incursion bill among others.

Addressing the people, Sen. Ibrahim assured that he will clinch the party’s ticket.

His words ” I am the only aspirant with capacity, popularity and substantial knowledge to clinch the party ticket apart from being their senior in the race”

He also promised to revamp all the ailing sectors of the state economy and repositioned them on the path of prosperity.

“Our state does not need to beg the federal government for anything because of our endowed natural resources if we have a visionary leader like me as the Governor. I promise to start Sea port in just 90 days in office as your Governor” Ibrahim said.

Giving his remarks, the chairman of Aseyori in Ondo State, Senator Tayo Alasoadura who led other political bigwigs like the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, the immediate past speaker of House of Assembly, 8 former members of House of Assembly, 5 former commissioners and 18 former local government chairmen in the state thanked the people of Ilaje & Ese-odo for their substantial support throughout Agagu administration when he was commissioner of Finance.

He further assured them to expect greater dividends from Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR when he becomes the Governor

In an Interview with the Aseyori media team, Mr Adewale Benjamin, a youth leader and Chieftain of APC in Ilaje local government, challenged supporters of other aspirants in the local governments to pinpoint their achievements and compare it to that of late Governor Olusegun Agagu.

He also used the opportunity to charge them to intensify their mobilization in order to be part of the land slide victory of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR come April 20, 2024.
