Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN represented by the State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, led other dignitaries to the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree on Deji of Akure and Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, by the Federal University of Technology, Minna on Tuesday.
The University Chancellor’s Investiture, Conferment of First Degree and Award Prize was held at Suleiman Kumo Convocation Square, Main Campus, Minna, Niger State.
Present at the event are, Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiub, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari, Niger State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Prof Baba Aliyu, who represented Niger State Governor, and Vice Chancellor, FUT, Minna, Prof Abdullahi Bala.
Other are, Akapinsa of Ipinsa, Oba ( Dr ) Omoniyi Olufunmilayo, Asea of Akure, Senior High Chief Sola Adegbomilere, Iralepo of Isinkan Akure, High Chief Henry Olugbenga Adeyeye, Olu of Ilu-Abo, Chief Olu Falae, Balogun of Akure, Rear Admiral Samuel Alade, Olu of Okelisa Tutun, Chief Kunle Ajanaku, Edemo of Akure, High Chief Folabi Fayehun, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao who was represented by A.A Shinkafi among other dignitaries.
