Pa Akinwalere served conscientiously for thirty-five years as Okitipupa Government Field worker and subsequently retired.
Shortly after his retirement,Pa Akinwalere was called home and the children deemed fit to give back to the place where their father had served meritoriously.This gave birth to Fehintola – Victoria Akinwalere Foundation in which the inaugural edition was held last year.
During the inaugural edition last year,The children promised to purchase a mower for okitipupa local government football council.
This came into fruition this year as the children redeemed the pledge by procuring a mower for okitipupa local government football council, During the occasion of the mower’s presentation to the council,The children expressed their delight in the pace in which sport developments being engineered by the sport council.
They subsequently promised to sponsor a football which is expected to kickstart by October this year with the aims of talent scouting and youth developments.
The proposed Football tournament will be a mega tournament that will be comprising football from clubs both okitipupa and Irele local governments.
The foundation is targeting empowerments through sport and uplifting of the downtroddens.
