Familiarisation Visit: University of Fortune Team Meets Key Education Stakeholders

Led by its proprietor, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, the delegation included the Acting Vice Chancellor, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, and Buser.
The team was first received by the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON, who commended the bold vision behind the university. The delegation then met with the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and later the Registrar of JAMB, underscoring the institution’s readiness to align with national standards and global best practices.

The NUC has officially approved 17 undergraduate programmes across four faculties for the 2025/2026 academic session, with an initial quota of 800 students. These include cutting-edge courses in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Nursing Science, Law, International Relations, Criminology, and Project Management. With such breadth, the University of Fortune is poised to hit the ground running and raise the bar for private universities nationwide.
The institution sits on a vast expanse of land in Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, boasting outstanding architectural aesthetics, modern learning facilities, and international-standard amenities.
