2027: Group Urges Nigerians to Get Voters Cards, Backs Tinubu

The Renewed Hope Street Crusaders in Ibadan and Osogbo has urged Nigerians to show greater interest in obtaining the party’s membership cards, expressing confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 general election based on the impact of his administration.

The Convener, The Renewed Hope Street Crusaders, Mr. Yinka Richards made the call during a voter sensitisation campaign organised by the Renewed Hope Street Crusaders in Ibadan, Oyo State capital and Osogbo, Osun State. The exercise was aimed at encouraging citizens to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.

Speaking with residents during the exercise, Richards commended the efforts of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, describing him as one of the standout performers in President Tinubu’s cabinet.

He pointed to reforms in key sectors such as immigration and correctional services as evidence of improved service delivery and strengthened public confidence in governance.

Recent reports by civil society organisations and policy analysts have also highlighted improvements in passport processing and institutional reforms under the leadership of the Minister of Interior.

According to Richards, Tunji-Ojo’s leadership reflects commitment and competence, adding that his initiatives have contributed significantly to the APC’s progressive agenda in the South-West region.

He also praised the minister for inspiring the Voters’ Enlightenment Exercise and supporting the growth of the party in Ondo State and beyond.

Addressing youths, traders, artisans, transport workers and members of ethnic associations, Richards urged Nigerians to take advantage of the voter registration exercise and participate actively in the electoral process.

He said that voting for President Tinubu would enable the administration to sustain its development programmes under the Renewed Hope agenda.

“As citizens, we must obtain our PVCs and exercise our right to vote. Supporting President Tinubu will allow him to continue delivering on his promises,” he said.

Richards cautioned opposition parties against making statements capable of undermining national unity, urging them to desist from comments that could destabilise the country.

He added that political analysts have described the current administration as one with the capacity to reposition Nigeria and address its economic and social challenges.

According to him, continued support for the APC-led government remains vital to achieving sustainable growth, stability and national development.
