Akinbiola Nicholas to distribute palliative on Sunday at Irele

Palliative packages by eminent industrious sons and daughters of Irele local government are set for distribution to the widows, vulnerable residents and downtrodden across all communities in the local government.

This was announced by the Caretaker Committee Chairman Irele Local Government, Mr. Akinbiola Oluwatobi Nicholas in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Akinboye Gbenga Osowe and made available to Ikale Voice earlier today.

According to Mr. Osowe, “The palliative exercise for the widows, vulnerable and downtrodden in Irele Local Government is slated for Sunday 17th of May, 2020 at Irele Civic Center.”

“The materials include 500 packages of rice, beans, garri and tuber of yams plus 1000 face masks and 500 hand sanitizers,” he said.

He pointed that the palliative exercise which was the initiative of Irele Local Government Chairman, Hon Oluwatobi Akinbiola Nicholas will be coordinated and supervised by himself and former Irele Local Government Chairman, Hon Adesanmi Elumaro who is also the secretary of the Irele Local Government Covid-19 committee.

Osowe also stressed that the palliative packages would be equitably distributed to the categories of people whom the palliative packages are meant for across communities in the Local Government. The distribution would also be off political sentiments.
