A tribute to Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim: A champion of progress, development

For the past two years, Senator Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim CFR, OFR, has been a shining example of dedicated public service mixed with undiluted capacity, representing Ondo South in the Nigerian Senate with distinction. His tireless efforts to promote the welfare and development of his constituency and Ondo State as a whole have earned him widespread acclaim and made him synonymous with purposeful representation.

Sen. Ibrahim’s efforts to improve infrastructure has also been quite remarkable. He has helped secure necessary funding for various infrastructural projects as included in the 2025 budget for constituency allocation some of which are:

• Rehabilitation of 18 kilometers of Akinfosile-Erekiti Road, at a cost of N700 million naira.
• Procurement of 48 units of 500kva transformers, at a cost of N480 million naira
• Construction and equipping of a JAMB central facility, at a cost of N600 million naira
• Installation of over 800 solar lights for Ilutitun, Igbotako, Iju Oke, Iju-Odo, Oloto, Igodan-Lisa, Okitipupa, Erekiti-Luwoye, Araromi Obu, Abusoro, and Agbetu
• Provision of 66 solar-powered boreholes across the 66 wards in Ondo South etc.
