
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on Thursday expressed his commitment towards supporting Communities’ Infrastructural development.
The Governor stated this on the occasion of Obe-Nla Day Celebration and Launching of Kulajolu Hall, in Obe-Nla, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Obe-Nla is the home town of Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The Governor who was represented at the event by his Deputy, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa said finished and ongoing developmental projects across the State are manifestation of the commitment of his administration to the overall development of the various communities in the State in terms of provision of Infrastructure and people oriented policies.
In addition, Governor Akeredolu explained that despite the paucity of funds, his government has been unrelenting in the areas of security, educational advancement and human capital development.
He then lauded the Community for observing Obe-Nla Day Celebration as a unifying force meant to promote the development of the town.
He also commended the Traditional Ruler of the town, Oba kolawole Andrew Ikuesan, the Olubo of Obe-Nla kingdom in maintaining a cordial relationship with the State Government.
Present at the event are, Commissioner of Health, Dr Banji Ajaka, APC Chieftain, Chief Olusola Oke SAN, Olubo of Obe-Nla, Oba Andrew Ikuesan, Mr Raphael Damilola, OSOPADEC Secretary, Dr Victor Koledoye, former Special Adviser to Governor on Niger Delta Affairs, Hon Oyebo Aladetan, Chairman, Ilaje Regional Development Council ( IRDC ), Barr Abiye Adeyemi and others.
