Billion side business mogul and Senator-elect for Ondo South Senatorial District, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR and former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon Agboola Ajayi on Wednesday met at Abuja Airport for the first time after the Feb. 25, Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Surprisingly, the duo, who both contested for the senatorial seat of Ondo South at the election, embraced each other to the dismay of their aides.
Ibrahim, contested on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) while Ajayi contested on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
It would recalled that Ibrahim polled 110, 665 votes to defeat Ajayi who scored 65,784 votes of the keenly contested poll.
Ibrahim, however, emerged the Senator-elect but the current scenario could be likened to no victor, no vanquish and indeed a lesson of spirit of sportsmanship especially to their followers.
