
The Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Ajimotokin has pledged its commitment to always reward diligent workers in its employ for them to always give their best in the service of the Local Government and implementation of policies that will better the standard of living of the people.
Hon. Ajimotokin made the statement earlier today during the Annual General Prayer Meeting with the local government workforce to premise the start of the year on God.
Hon. Ajimotokin stressed the importance of the capacity building to self-development which he said would be of help to workers after they might have retired from service.
The honourable Chairman rewarded seven members of staff and explained that the outstanding officers were found worthy in diligence, competence, integrity, punctuality, adherence to civil service rules, among other criteria.
He charged the workers to be ready to give their best in 2022 to contribute their quota to the development of Irele Local Government and Ondo State.
While noting that his administration takes the security of lives and property very seriously, he said the initiative of the security committee and the Security Trust Fund has helped design a viable security architecture in the Local Government and the people will start seeing the outcome from now.
He stressed that the intensified efforts on security would bring back banking services in the local government in no distant times.
Hon. Ajimotokin lauded His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, Executive Governor of Ondo State for counting him and his contemporaries across the local government worthy for allowing them to pilot the affairs of their respective Local Governments. He emphasized that the devotion of governor Akeredolu to the security of his people is worthy of commendation adding that the Ondo state is now being adjudged the most peaceful state in the federation.
Prayers were held for peace, progress and development of Irele Local Government, Ondo State and Nigeria at large, protection and good health for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, political leaders and civil servants.
In the Annual General Prayer Meeting were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Jide Akinfe, Secretary to the local government, Mr Oladipupo Temenu, HOLGA, Mr Okoroboh R. W, DGSA, Mr Adeusi Adegboyega, NULGE Chairman, Comrade Temilola Orimisan, Director of Community Development, Pastor J. B Orukotan among others.
