Okitipupa Local Government football council has mandated football clubs within its jurisdiction to approval for friendly and novelty matches to be played henceforth.
The press statement released on Tuesday by its chairman babatunde Igbasan reads:
In wake of the recent unfortunate accident that happened in Ondo state football.
Okitipupa local government football council wishes to inform all clubs within his jurisdiction that:
– No Friendly match should take place without the consent of FA.
– No Novelty or ceremonial match should be held without FA’s approval.
– No Competition should be organized without FA’s approval.
All these measures are to be taken in cognizance to forestall any unfortunate incidents.
