The All Progressive Congress aspirant for Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency in the just concluded primaries; and founder, Olumuyiwa Daramola Foundation, Dr. Olumuyiwa Daramola condemns attack on catholic Christians in Owo.
Earlier on Sunday, the news of the gruesome attack on worshipers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo broke out. An attack that claimed lives and left many injured.
Dr Olumuyiwa reacting to the brutal incident in a chat with newsmen had condemned the gruesome attack tagging it barbaric and evil. “The incident is barbaric, evil and saddens the heart”; he said.
Stressing further, he charged Nigerian Government to sit up in saving lives and properties. “Nigerians and Nigeria must rise up and declare complete war against banditry, insurgents and all criminal elements across the nation”.
Furthermore, the United States based Medical expert condoles with the Owo people, particularly the families of the victims of this dastard act; the Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III and the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who is a worthy son of Owo Kingdom.
He therefore called on governors across the country to map out strategies and communication channels to ensure security of Nigerians irrespective of their location or tribe.
