Freedom is the goal of every human. It takes time and adequate preparation to achieve by building structures and galvanizing constant ideologies that in turn liberates you from being political prisoners.
When Dr Jimoh Ibrahim decided to contest for the Senate representing Ondo Southern Senatorial district, the people of the zone already had a sigh of relief that genuine development will surface in days to come.
Even the decision of the party to rally behind him as their candidate is a testament to the fact that members of his party must have studied him with some rare leadership qualities and dexterity needed for the growth of the senatorial District.
For those of us who have been opportuned to observe the Igbotako born billionaire at close range, we are impressed to state without fear of contradiction, that he is eminently qualified and the best man for the job; given his antecedent over the years.
However, for those who are not familiar with him, we encourage them to seek information, be open-minded, be objective and less emotional because we are convinced that no other candidate has the requisite qualities, experience, exposure and maturity that we have seen in Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, the Araba Of Ikale land, especially given the level of work, physical engagement and personal commitment that are required to reposition Southern part of Ondo Statetate in the immediate and long term when he gets to the Senate.
The incoming senator, has made a name for himself as a grassroot politician that delivers at all times in public office without blemish. His meteoric rise as a technocrat and politician, apparently marked him out as a peoples’ choice.
The Harvard alumnus, a lawyer and an entrepreneur has over the years demonstrated his ability to turn potentials to wealth, not only in the Southern part of Ondo but Ondo state as a whole. He has equally proven his capacity to transform ailing businesses for the overall benefits of the larger society.
Undoubtedly, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim also has the indelible track record and capacity to attract unprecedentedly huge investment and development to Ondo South senatorial district, when he eventually gets to the Red chamber of the National Assembly.
Now that the Araba of Ikaleland has willingly offers to rescue his people, what is expected from the good people of Ondo South is to give him an overwhelming support.
