The Executive Chairman, Irele Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin has felicitated Muslims in Irele Local Government, Ondo State and Nigeria at large on the celebration of 2022 Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement, the honourable Chairman urged the Muslim faithfuls to imbibe the lesson of sacrifice and love which the Eid-el-Kabir symbolises.
According to Hon. Ajimotokin, Eid-el-Kabir offers Muslim ummah another opportunity to rededicate themselves to their beneficent Creator and reinforces the virtues of patience, tolerance and love.
The council boss added that this time in our country demands that in our struggle to build a better nation, we must be united and join hands across ethnoreligious inclinations to work for our collective progress.
He prays for peace and wisdom in solving the challenges facing the State and the country as a whole, especially the insecurity, and urged all Muslim Faithfuls in the Local Government to remain peaceful as they join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
