py New Month distinguished members and leaders of our party the APC.
It’s very important we avoid wasting time in puting our home in order ahead of the general elections because the lessons from 2019 elections are still hurting us. Hence, the need to sheath our swords and progress.

We don’t need to deceive ourselves, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim OFR, CFR isn’t the first person in APC that will enjoy the kind of overwhelming support he got from stakeholders and delegates by extension. It could have been anyone else. Definitely, someone will be lucky enough to get it.
In 2019, Hon. Mayowa AKINFOLARIN got a similar support to get the Rep ticket despite being a new entrant in APC, After Akeredolu’s victory in 2016, a large number of new entrants got appointments ahead of founding members of the progressive party and nobody was crucified. Lots of people got business endorsement advantages under this government while millions who are also loyal got nothing.
Jimoh Ibrahim was instrumental to the cracking of the Mimiko led political dynasty in 2016 and we can’t deny the magnitude of relief our party enjoyed from his giant strides then. His contributions to the development of the party is huge and all hierarchy of the party can confirm that.
A man who is currently investing billions of Naira in Ondo South to create jobs, business opportunities, agricultural revolution and massive rural to urban transformation in our zone is arguably our best amongst those on the ballot. His National and International recognition, Education, Exposure, Economic & Financial capacity has no match amongst those on ballot.
Sometimes it’s honourable you don’t start what you can’t finish by try to hold back a moving fully loaded heavy duty truck with your bare hands. The primary election has shown clearly the margin between Araba and others. Luckily for the party, Araba is a man who doesn’t hold grudges and I can testify to that myself.
Let’s swallow our prides, sheath our swords and work for our best for the greater good of our party. Araba lives here in Ikale and has seen lots of our challenges, probably thats what prompted him to choose this zone over Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Portharcourt as the location for Fortune University which is going to transform the economy of our zone.
We must encourage Araba to do more by giving him total support.
May Araba Succeed
May Ondo South Succeed
May APC Succeed.
I am Deola Laguda.
